Of course, many are celebrating the start of the summer season but Memorial Day is much more than that here in US or at least it should be. It’s about remembering those who fought and died defending the country. It’s a day where ideologies are set aside (or once again should be) and people are the focus. Not only those who served and died but those who were left to carry on without their loved ones.
We honor those men and women today and give thanks and offer a prayer for their families. Thank you for your sacrifice.
